Results from the first Nudge poll

The solid winner, with 43 percent of the votes was changing the default option to opt-out organ donation. The rest of the results are as follows:

2) Require mortgage lenders to to provide borrowers with an electronic file that contains, in standardized form, information on every feature of the contract. (19 percent)

3) Privatize marriage. Government would grant civil unions to all couples. Religious organizations could continue to perform marriage ceremonies. (17 percent)

4) Offer medical patients the option to purchase health insurance plans with and without the right to sue for negligence. (12 percent)

5) End randomized assignment of Medicaid beneficiaries prescription drug plans, in favor of a system that matches patients to plans on the basis of past drug history. (10 percent)
